Sprinkler Systems

Wet Pipe Sprinkler Systems: The most common fire sprinkler system we install. This system will discharge water immediately upon activation of a sprinkler head near a heat source. Most sprinkler systems are fed from a reliable, municipal water supply and are required to have rated backflow preventer assemblies.

Dry Pipe Sprinkler Systems: This system is installed in any area that requires fire sprinkler protection where the ambient temperature is below 40 Deg F. The piping is pressurized with air instead of water to prevent freezing. When a sprinkler head operates, air will discharge first- releasing a valve that will then send water into the system. Most common in colder regions of the country and used to protect attics, coolers and freezer applications.

Deluge Sprinkler Systems: All sprinklers connected to the system piping are open. When activation occurs the system fills with water and discharges throughout the entire system. These systems are designed for special high hazard areas where rapid fire spread is a concern.

Pre-action Sprinkler Systems: Pre-action sprinkler systems are specialized for use in locations where accidental activation is undesired, such as museums with rare artworks, manuscripts or books and data centers with vulnerable computer equipment. Works like a dry system, but often requires heat or smoke detection as an additional element of system activation.
